I'm a Marshall fan to the fullest, but this blog is unbiased. Can another cracker ever spit bars that aint sprinkled with Slim Rhyme Dust? I guess Drama will do mixtapes with whoever. I havent really given duke a chance but I've heard 3 cuts from this cat and red flags went up all over...we want slim shady back, not an imposter. Dude has spit, but he completely and blatantly jacked Em's whole fuckin setup. Last time I checked that was a Hip Hop NO NO...

I hear you... It's strange to hear him sound like Em in the Slim Shady days, and we miss Em dropping that again instead of that 'yelling no deep' lyrics and choruses... He need to get hungry again, and kick Asher out of the game...
ReplyDeletehis voice is hella similar but that's nothing he can change. i really don't think he has em's flow though. besides - this verse if better than anything marshall's spewed out in the past 6 years. more power to him.
ReplyDeleteSorry to say this, but just because a white boy is spittin and god forgive him, his voice sounds very similar to Em's doesnt mean we need to kick him out the game.....damn what a hater say asher goes hard as fuck, just because he aint got fifty to make a wack ass song like crack a bottle doesnt give us a reason to banish him and throw him to the dogs...I have to agree with Curb, even tho I am (and J you know this) a huge fan of Em he hasn't gone that hard in a minute
ReplyDeleteDifferent ,original,risk taking,real intelligent,centered,comfortable in their own skin ..and yes there are gonna be more white rappers..but the majority of listeners are white..and middle to upper class .So the thought of poor or unfortunate whites in america isnt in the realm of possibility or ..basically who cares..So the reason there have been more whitey's on the moon than in rap ..is because if a white kid can spit ,angry,hostile,rebellion type shit ..nobody wants to hear it ..and What would make rap so special if every white kid could spit ..but they listen and they all arent fortunate..and eventually the tide will shift..i mean if you grow up listening to it non stop and you have the IT ..well its all the other variables not the skin color..and it is a business..why would everyone talk about pop champagne and strippers..cause its good for the club,owners..and the DJ's play what keeps them employeed..hmm ..ive gonna all over the map here..sorry..the answer is ..YES more white men ..not boys ..guys,or dudes but white men will rap ..its the pinnacle of music ..its the mixture of all music ,poetry,dance,and lifestyle which has no color or copyright..Eric Hall the Original White Rapper from the Howard Stern show...wanna battle live on air ?..St.Patty's day...get Sirius
ReplyDeleteHe's okay but there are better potential white dues out there. Ashkon is one of them. Roth has decent enough lyrics but his voice and flow and kind of boring. He's like part Em part Paul Barman. Now if Paul had Em's flow the game would be over. The only white emcee to really make me go daam! since Em would be Hot Karl. A shame he retired from rap, with the right people behind him he could have been huge.
